Junjou Romantica Season 3?

The question we have all been asking: will there be a Junjou Romantica Season 3?
We have gathered up as much information as to if there will be a 3rd season. We've checked all the sites related to Junjou Romantica, including the official website. So far the only site saying there will be a Season 3 is Anime News Network.com. This information was provided by

The information clearly states that Junjou Romantica will be having a new anime adaptation. Kadokawa's Ciel Trés Trés magazine had announced a few months ago that a new anime from Nakamura is in the works. Now this doesn't necessarily mean there will be a Season 3. Maybe they're not creating a Season 3, but creating a new OVA for the series? Kadokawa's Ciel Trés Trés magazine may also be talking about Nakamura-sensei's Hybrid Child. We have discussed in our recent journal entry that there is a high possiblity Hybrid Child will be turned into an OVA.

Now we all know aarinfantasy right? They sub our lovely yaoi shows made by Nakamura-sensei along with other awesome yaoi series. Well they have also shed some light on the subject about the JR Season 3. Their thoughts of a Season 3:

Question: Will there be a Season 3 of Junjou Romantica?
Answer: We don't know. As far as I know, at the moment, no. There's not really any manga material for them to keep going so if there were to be one, it would be original material. That's the short answer.

Now if there were to be a Season 3, I'm sure aarinfantasy would know of it, they tend to keep track of these things xD

In our opinion, there should be a Junjou Romantica Season 3. The ending to Season 2 was such a cliffhanger, being Misaki saves Usagi-san from being ran over by a truck. After that Usagi-chichi accepts Misaki... end of Season 2 D:
We want to know what happens after THAT! We do have the manga to keep us occupied though, so for now we're just going to have to keep praying for a Season 3.
